The Perfect Chambray Dress

A day away from the 4th of July and things are heating up over here! BBQ's, birthday parties, day trips to Philly and the Jersey shore mean staying cool is paramount. I found this fabulous little chambray dress from Target while I was shopping for essentials -  I'm sure you can relate because who can get outta Target without a few fun pieces!?! I love the simple swing silhouette since it's great for all body shapes, especially for us petite, big bootie girls!

The details really make this dress too! The halter neckline features a drawstring tie and fabric godet for a bit of swing that makes this dress special. That's the trick when shopping fast fashion in my opinion - simples shapes and a detail or two, nothing too extra or contrived.

I accessorized with a classic Clubmaster frame, crossbody bag and gold slides to compliment the simple silhouette. High-low summer style at it's best and a perfect option for tomorrow's 4th of July festivities! Hope you have a safe and relaxing 4th!
